I have several flax plants in the garden - none old enough to flower yet. Those are the phormiums I like. I saw a magnificent one yesterday at the nursery, but it cost nearly £40!!!

Thanks - I thought so, mainly because I should be able to find out more about him. He was the Bishop of Jesus College, Oxford ..... not sure of years exactly but it was 1800s.

I have New Zealand Flax in the garden too.

I will have to send you a tree I discovered on the Net CM - because it is beautiful. Has my ancestor and her son the Bishop on it!
