Oh no. I know it was Harry's Bar but not sure exactly where. There is one in Venice but I suspect there are also some in other cities.

Yes, lampreys are eels. I've never eaten them, much less a surfeit!

They certainly resemble eels Shelley. I think they are a different creature, but I've not read this through so don't actually know ............
