It's hard to believe that women weren't allowed to vote. Eventualy we could vote if we were aged 30 and married,lol

I've recently found that some women could vote in local elections and the like quite a long time beforehand but not in General Elections. I found that out during family history research and wondered why I was finding women on electoral rolls.
