Re: Teddie very bad again

Alex, all I can say at this point is (((hugs))) to you and Teddie! And I'll repeat what I said on the Daily thread: you may have been lucky to find this forum, but I think we're the lucky ones that you did! The Pointer Sisters had a song out years ago called "We are Family" ..... fits ....

Re: Teddie very bad again

Now Eileen, you'll set me off again, lol!! Thank you for that lovely sentiment. This place and the people on it mean so much to me. Since I came to Telford I have made aquaintances, not real friends, the kind you drop in on and have a cuppa with like I used to do in Aberdeen (I was never in my house always in someone elses, lol). I think its because my girls were older when we moved here, and I didn't have things like parent and toddler groups to go to, and the mums at the school all had their little groups. So Catsey has been a Godsend to me, I can sit here with my cup of tea and feel like I'm chatting to my friends. ((hugs)) to you all.

Yola, was this the link you gave to Carly ........ http://www.meditrina.net/meditrinahome.html

Nope, Scottish through and through , but I change my avatar in honour of whatever occasion is coming up, and as it's St Davids day tomorrow I thought I'd put up the welsh flag.

Re: Teddie very bad again

Well, Teddie had not a bad night again, just a tiny little bit of poo on the floor, but after I gave her her breakfast, she went in quite a few spots. Also, everytime I pressed her little tummy, she broke wind! Now the question is this, I have some Hills id dry food here, do I try her on this??? I dont think the chicken is filling her up, as every time I go near her she is crying for food. I know she was ok in the past on the hills wet, so I'm thinking the dry should be good for her too.

I'd say give it a go Alex. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Do remember, however that many cats have increased sensitivity to dry food.

Poor hungry Teddie Why not let her have a little kibble. Has the canikur arrived?

Re: Teddie very bad again

Teddie has duly tucked into a small amount of kibble with canikur granules over the top. You could almost see her little face light up, and oh boy, did she enjoy those biccies. Licked the bowl clean!! Will let you all know how she gets on with it. Oh! And reading the back of the packet it says, to be given for around 2 weeks in cases of acute diarrhea, 3-12 weeks for maldigestion and lifetime for chronic pancreatic disorders.
