Jerry and his littermate brothers all gradualy lost some of the use of their back legs, this is seperate to the potassium problem ( i assume ) Jerry is the only survivor left and is nearly 16. for a few years his back legs have been weak, giving him a perculiar walking gait and he is also unable to jump except very small heights. The vet suggested it was some weird nerological hereditary condition, she told us that it wasn't realy worth investigating as the condition could only be managed not cured. |
