Cairns, the Gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, is a 1700 km drive from Queenslands State Capital - Brisbane. It is possible to drive to Cairns from Brisbane on Highway This takes at least 2 days

Depends really how Monty takes his first jab. There is a village party and I may just wander down carrying the little boy to introduce him, but it may be too much as there could be quite a few people there. Otherwise, in the garden if it's not pouring with rain! Do have a good book to read if all else fails.
