Re: All of us in pictures

Jac, I've been meaning to ask: how is Ceilidh pronounced?

Re: All of us in pictures

It's pronounced Kay-lay Eileen, if I remember rightly it means joyous dance or celebration

Re: All of us in pictures

Spot on Alex. DM yes it it Gaelic. It's a dance or celibration. There's 10 years between her and my youngest son. Ive had alot of miscarrages and one Doc told me it was because my body wouldnt carry a girl. When I found out she was a wee girl I wanted a special name hence Ceilidh.
Not that my boys arnt special, just she's a bit diffrent if you know what I mean.

Yola thank you.

I asked Alex the same question when I first met her as I had always wondered too.

Time for new people to think whether they are brave enough to 'fess up'!
Here's a pic our Canadian friends have just sent, from last summer. L-R my OH, me, Jen, Dan, on the boat back from Brownsea Island, just before the heavens opened!

That's a very nice picture of you Hilary, looking most youthful and relaxed there

But I agree - lots of new people here now . . . let's be having your pictures
