Re: Flood havoc

The rain finally stopped here a wee while ago! I did not enjoy the thunder and lightening and my garden is like a bog at the moment! Praying for a drier day tomorrow, especially as I am off on a church outing to Llandudno!

Re: Flood havoc

I've just been reading about it and looking at the pictures - how horrible, we all think we're safe and then mother nature throws a spanner in the words!

I hope all here in Northants, S. Yorks and the Midlands are safe and dry . . .

Wish everyone safe and well (and dry!)
Guess we're not anticipating a hose pipe ban at the mo? This is just payback for that beautiful April

Re: Flood havoc

we didn't have the rain yesterday up here but it was really grey all day. Today now we have really heavy rain - I really hope there is no thunder and lightening though - I'm terrified I run around and switch off all electriacl stuff and close curtains then get my bed covers and liue on the floor with my two dogs who are just as frightened as me cats don't bother about it

the rain is so heavy its knocking the cat flap open

If you read this link & see the bit about Fellows Avenue (Kingswinford) that is the street opposite where we live!
Had really bad flooding here & there have been several homes & factories flooded.

Have you been OK Smudgley? And your lovely chickens and the CP cats?
We're a bit concerned about Erin & wonder if her phone/internet has been washed out
