Re: Daily Thread / Wednesday

Wow, an earthquake! Glad everyone is OK and most slept thru it! Must be quite an uncanny feeling: we almost never get one here on the East coast, thank God! Lovely to hear that things are greening up; we're a long way from that I fear! It's only 1 degree and with the blustery winds feels like minus 3...a cold trip to the market! The usual here; nothing to report..

Fran: how's Mildred?
Angie: stuff is coming up a bit in one front bed and I don't remember planting anything there this Autumn... (senior moment? )

Enjoy the afternoon, all....

Hiya all back form work Yes I was woken at 1 this morning or there abouts at first I really thought it was the cats jumping on the bed...DUH....dense moment.

Yes the bed shook and the alarm clock by the time I had woken enough it has stopped, so went back to sleep.

Hope all are well.

hi, We didn't feel anything here - although in the 2002 quake (which was very near to us) we did wake up & felt the house shake.

My youngest daughter with a cat face painted on her.

I had my husband on the other day.

I'm changing it every 48 hours at the mo.

Re: Daily Thread / Wednesday

About the earthquake, I thought I was having a nightmare! I didn't see any TV this morning, everyone else had slept through it and it wasn't 'til i got to uni and everyone was talking about it that i realised it was real!

I woke up to the whole house shaking and rattling, very very strange, never experienced one before. By the time I got myself out of bed to have a look outside it had passed, checked the dogs, they hadn't budged! No one else was awake, so I went back to bed, thought I must have been dreaming!

Everyone at uni thought it was hilarious when I finally realised it was real!
