Good point about a student; we're very close to both Georgetown & American Universities, & some people rent rooms to them. Likely for the flag, I think, less likely for the rosemary plant; suspect that was a gardener or someone who knows about culinary uses. As a plant it isn't especially attractive, like a pretty flowering thing. Who knows; bad vibes to him/her!! |

I think it's awful when people take low-monetary value, high personal value items, like plants, garden ornaments etc etc. It's just so mean - the owners loved those things, not because they were worth a lot, but because they had put work in, or watched it grow, or it holds memories. Grrrr. |

You are so right. DM! That rosemary bush was a tiny little thing about 3 inches tall when I bought it 6 years ago to replace my bush that had died in the awful Winter! I nursed it along & it was doing so well, about 18-20 inches tall & so green & healthy! I have another one on order, & when it comes, it will NOT live in the driveway!! |
