A little cooler here today - sun has not burned off the clouds yet.
Australia v England (rugby) shortly, so shall prob watch that.
Have sent OH on prawn buying expedition, as Mini has decided that she doesn't like the trout pate so won't eat her pill in that today!

Mags - a sleeping tip. Get two kittens. They wake you at 5, keep you on your toes all day, you fall exhausted into bed at 10pm and go straight to sleep and stay sound till they wake you at 5 next morning!

Humid as anything here today. Yesterday's lovely breeze has gone Have been pottering in the garden but find any exertion at the mo is just too much Yesterday we took Dominik to this great playground the other side of town by the Thames; it has a huge paddling pool. I thought he's be nervous but he just went crazy in there . . . splashing all the other kids and rolling around. I was so chuffed he liked it.

I'm taking him to one of his little friend's birthday parties this afternoon (not sure what the protocol re birthday parties is - so not sure if I'll have to stay or not), but hubby's just out at Waitrose getting bits for tonight's barbie . . . fish kebabs and cous cous salad yums!!!

Fifi refuses to go out - it's just to hot for her with her thick coat; Balie and Darcy are alternating between lolling in the borders and flopping out on the cool basement floor (feel like joining them ).

Carly - have a great week away - look forward to the pics, and everyone else - stay cool
