They got them in yesterday - they are on offer. I went last night when I got home - but my Lidl had sold out, they'd hardly got anything left, just a few dog collars & a few cat toys. So I went to a bigger store today & managed to get one. I'd try & get there as soon as you can if you want one.

thanks Mags - it's really beautiful. I know my hubby sometimes stares at her & I know he still misses her at bedtime, because she used to curl up on his pillow the other 2 will lie on the end of the bed, but won't come by the pillows.

I've got 4 of those pencil ones on that wall Kay, I love them, but Emmas picture is just something else. My mother in law thought it was a photograph.

It is really gorgeous, I can't wait till Emma does Toby's pic, they seem a really fitting tribute.

I could only get the two but have been told that Wilkinson's have got some more in so will have to have another trip.

Re: I always keep promises....

Kay ~ Mitten was a lovely tabby cat we had from 6 weeks old, she was my husbands cat & was very close to him. We moved house in Sept 2004, only a few mins away, but across a busy road. My other 2 settled straight away, but not Mitten, for some reason she would keep going back there. We would fetch her back, then keep her in - then try again, she'd stay nearby for a few days, then suddenly would go back there. I know they were not feeding her. One day (in October 2005) she went back & got run over, she was killed straight away. I was so devastated it was just awful. I had already asked Emma about doing some drawings for me & when this happened she very kindly contacted me & offered to draw Mitten. I sent her a photo & within days, the picture was framed & on my wall. It is such a good likeness it means the world to us.

That is a really sad story. You must have been totally devasted especially your hubby. The only comfort, if thats what you can call it, is that she died instantly. No lingering suffering after the event. I am sure that Toby's pic will mean the same to me as Mitten's does to you.

Hugs. Kay.
