Re: Bernie

Ok here goes, weight is the same as when he was in June, he has a slight heart murmur but nothing to worry about. The tumour has grown, it's an L shape with a hard nodule on it, I can feel it. The vet thinks it is giving him a bit of discomfort now, he also has the beginings of arthritis in his right hind hip which may be the cause of him biting last week.
All in all the vet said he is doing remarkably well considering his diagnosis 16 months ago.
They have no idea what is going on with him but as he is doing so well just leave him be.
The vet aid that when he saw Bernie was booked in today, he expected to se a cat who was near the end and is happily surprised to see him doing well.
Metacam for the arthritis, call them next week to let them know how he is doing with that and a check up in December.

Re: Bernie

Oh hun, sorry about the lump ...... you can feel it, you know about it but I know how difficult it is. But, on the bright side - how well Bernie is doing after all. Hopefully if he's in pain from the arthritis and he can be made more comfortable with that, he will not bite you again.

Re: Bernie

Sorry to hear about the lump and hope the painkiller helps with the arthritis!! One thing about him is that he is fighting well to be with you, and now it looks like you know why he is biting you, then that will be better. planty of loving vibes from Joy and Beau xxxx
