What a lovely thread My cat, Sophie, at home I often call 'Sophiedopolis' It just rolls off the tongue, although I recently found out that 'dopolis' in Greek means 'son of'. I also call Sophie my darling and honey. Darcy is often 'Darce', 'my handsome boy', 'kit', and 'kitty mcvitty' :shy: Stravinsky is almost always called 'Minsky' for short, or 'Stravy', 'Stravy-boy', 'big boy' and 'who's a big cat?!' I'm not as bad with nicknames for my two boys as I am with Sophie probably because they look at me with such disdain! |
