The vet has just phoned to update me. She thinks he'll have to be in for a few days. He's going up to the food and trying to have a lick at it, but obviously just too sore for him at the moment. So I'll phone in the morning and see how he is then.

I'm sorry to hear about Broxie, Alex. Poor lad, hope he gets better soon. Please don't beat yourself up about the paint. I'm sure you can't cat-proof your house all the time and the cat is a curious creature born to get into all sorts of trouble. They sure don't make things easy for us parents
