Re: The haunting!!!

I'd like to hear about your haunted house experience but wait till I get home
The home owners havent called me but thanx for putting my mind at ease with the doorbell thing, it's frightened the life out of me. Knew some one would be able to look at it logically

You are welcome Elaine
I will hold off on the scary house story for the moment... I don't think it would help your current night terrors...

Re: The haunting!!!

That is seriously scary, Elaine; you're a brave woman to stay there! I was thinking of some sort of short in the wiring for the doorbell; think the others have sussed it out. How much longer will you be there? Take some garlic and a crucifix if you sit there again!

Re: The haunting!!!

This is unusual in as much as usually with hauntings, animals either act strange or won't go anywhere near a place. I would definitely do some research to find out the cottage's history. Stay safe. Apparently reciting The Lord's Prayer can sometimes help.

The Lord's prayer part had me in stitches! You are funny Sagecat!
Knowing Elaine... she has googled 'Graveyard house' and researched as if her life depended on it lol...
Though maybe her life does depend on it.... oh spooky!

Re: The haunting!!!

On reflection that does sound funny, but I'm sure I read that somewhere. Of course I could be completely wrong as I'm Pagan and not too well up on churchy things!

I didn't mean it as a slight SC...
You are correct 'The Lords Prayer' said over and over is supposed to provide protection!
I was brought up a Cathoilc, but lean more towards Buddhism now...
