You certainly could! Probably won't bloom in time for the day itself, but how lovely in bleak dreary January to have them flowering. I'm referring to starting from the bulb; however you can buy them already started and in bud at garden centres/nurseries, etc. Our Whole Foods market has them in bud now! |

Well, went to garden centre today and bought three! Decided to give one to my Mum as part of her Xmas - so hers is called Christmas Star. For myself I got two bulbs, Picotee and Nymph. They had quite a few varieties so I was spoiled for choice. Planted them up and they are on Kitchen window sill. Fingers crossed they do for me. |

They look stunning Mags, I wanted a red one as my Grandpa used to have one like that but it was about the only colour they did not have. If they do ok then maybe next time!! |
