Evening all, okish day here weatherwise. Feeling a bit rough, think I'm developing tonsilitis  Lost a patient under anaesthetic today-it was very high-risk emergency surgery but that doesn't take away the awful, pit-of-the stomach feeling of guilt. Have shed buckets of tears and seeing the owners this afternoon set them off even more  It is something that has never happened to me before and don't think I'll ever forget it. |

Oh PL, how sad; that must be an awful feeling. But you all did your best, and I guess it just wasn't time for a miracle. ((hugs))). The poor family too ..... bad things do happen. |
