Oddly enough when Dad was alive and we went to the Cape on holiday I always ate breakfast: orange juice, bacon, scrambled eggs, buttered toast and milk. |

I've been being bad recently and skipping breakfast. Have to have at least one cup of tea though! Normally, when am being good about having it, will have Hot Buttered Toast Mon-Fri. and when I've got it in, and have rememberd to defrost some, I'll whack a couple of bits of bacon in the micro for a couple of minutes and have that as a sandwich. Other than that it varies - sometimes add in a yoghurt, or an orange, and if am in the mood to eat anything goes really!!! Mind... am a skinny-malink - find it far too easy to loose weight, and it is an issue when I do that! |

Wow, I'm really impressed, most of you have a really healthy breakfast!! Well today, my day off, I fancied bacon and egg with toast! Usually I have supermarket own brand special K with red berries and a glass of fresh orange juice. |

No such thing as healthy food, all food is healthy its the amount of the food you eat that makes it unhealthy. Thats my story and I am sticking to it |

My brekkie's quite varied and depends on time. Sometimes freshly squeezed lemon juice with hot water, sometimes tropicana orange juice 50/50 with water. Cup of strong black coffee but only at weekends. Weekday breakfast is usually rye or spelt bread toasted with low fat cream cheese and either ham or thin slice of smoked salmon. Sometimes if I'm feeling greedy I'll have a 2nd with jam or marmalade. Weekends it's poached or scrambled eggs or bacon/tomato, but grilled not fried. Sometimes usually in summer it's fruit salad too. |
