Re: Pandora's had an accident!

Now my heart beginning to settle down She's coming home this afternoon, with a wound drain in and a collar on - which won't please her! Will probably never know how she did it but I'm so grateful that she managed to get home and I could attend to her quickly. I dread to think if she'd been alone somewhere and unable to move -

It's a lovely indication of how strong her bond is to you PP - even though she's not lived with you all that long.

A gentle nose rub for Pandora from me when you get her home again.

Re: Pandora's had an accident!

Shelley, the vet didn't think a dog was involved because there was no saliva on her and I hadn't wiped her dry or anything. The wound on her flank where the fur has been chunked away has 2 very bad bruises, but no teeth marks. the leg wound was like as if she'd been skinned, thankfully that's been stitched back together and has a drain in.

I'm off to give her the antibiotic in a minute, then her metacam to help her pain later.

What a brave girl - and you acted so quickly, it's very level headed of you. I would have been in a right tailspin. I'm so happy she's home and is being well looked-after. I hope she recovers fully very soon xx
