Its not Appendix, they have done a load of tets, and are not sure yet what is wrong! He was sent home this afternoon. He is much better, has more colour, has to stay off work for a couple of weeks, and see the doc next week....

Re: Son in hospital...

Relieved that it wasn't appendicitis & that no operation was necessary.....how worrying for you, not knowing exactly what was wrong....Hope the tests will find the cause....knowing is better thsn not knowing. (((hugs)))

Re: Son in hospital...

Don't know whether that's good or bad .....
Hope he feels better soon and that the docs get to the bottom of this very quickly. Wonder if it's just a nothing/driving test stress/whatever ....
All the best to you both

PS when I had suspected appendicitis, then it turned out not to be, it was eventually an ovarian cyst. Don't suppose that's Robert's problem

I hope thats not Roberts problem DM!!
He has had this pain in his side off and on for months, and just a feling of not being right....

I had my appendix's out in 1980, it took 4 visits to casaulty and finally it rupturing before they did anything about it!

Re: Son in hospital...

A friend of mine, worked in the same company, had been having mild stomach pains, then about 10 days ago it became agonizing...rushed to hospital & it was a gall bladder attack. He's having lapproscopic surgery next Thursday. But would think your son is young for gall bladder..???? Keep us posted....

Re: Son in hospital...

I'm pleased to hear Robert is back home Moli.........I'm sure a bit of Mum's care will make him feel a lot better than being in hospital.....

I hope the tests will get to the bottom of the problem and he will be able to get back to his old self very soon (((hugs)))
