Re: Daily Thread/Sunday

Afternoon all. Was a lovely sunny morning here but looks as if it's starting to turn a bit now. Had a nice service at church and we've decided to 'sponsor' our local womens refuge as part of our reaching into the community initiative. I'm the contact with the lady who works there and so once a month I'll be delivering a box filled with groceries, toiletries, clothes etc for those who are in need of them. As our congregation is quite elderly it took a bit of thinking to find something they could contribute to without physical effort. This way they can pick up an extra tin or pack of biccies when they go shopping and bring it on a sunday

OH has gone fishing, so the girls have taken over the tv lol, and disney channel is reigning supreme. Hope everyone has a good day.

BC - congratulations, 14 years!! Hope you have a lovely day together x

Re: Daily Thread/Sunday

Afternoon! Rain and howling winds of yesterday have gone and it's just plain cold! Sunny, minus 3 and wind chill minus 9; Winter is hanging in there! Hurry Spring! To the market, long chilly wait for the bus home; think I'll just stay indoors with the papers and crossword. Leia had to be carried to bed last night; she loves that new thermal cushion so much she hasn't been to bed with me! We changed to Daylight Saving Time today, only 4 hours behind you now....

BC: happy anniversary!

Enjoy the day, all.....

Re: Daily Thread/Sunday

Good evening every one. Like you CS, I had planned a we bit of a lie in too but Eva decided to poo on the carpet and woke me up by trying to conceal the fact, that was at 5.30 am. Cleaned that up, got back into bed, just dozed off again when Bernie decided it was breakfast time and began banging the kitchen cupboards at 7.30 am
Oh well. Got up, did some washing, fed the animals then headed off and spent the rest of the morning and half the afternoon with the dogs. Just on my way back out to see them now so hello/goodbye .
Catch you all when I get back

Re: Daily Thread/Sunday

Happy Anniversary BC! Was at Crufts again yesterday so had a bit of a lie-in this morning, much needed too as I spent the rest of today at my younger brother and sister's 11th birthday party-a day of bowling and laserquest with 12 10/11yr olds!
My head hurts!
