Well Donna with good planning you will be amazed what you can fit in, in my 9' x 7' kitchen I have

Oven
Hob
Extractor
Dishwasher
Washing Machine
Full sized fridge/freezer
Microwave


Oh and lets not forget the kitchen sink!!! lol

Also I think if you have got a small kitchen it is best to have your appliances built in, otherwise you are going to have a lot of white units showing, which if you are going to have a white kitchen is perhaps not too bad. If you cannot replace all of your appliances I would recommend at least buying the doors for the appliances then if they do pack up you can then buy a built in one which doesn't actually cost much more.

I am going to have a built in oven hob and extractor and an integrated dishwasher. Have a TD and WM at moment but they are not integrated and cant afford to replace them just yet but getting the doors is a good idea Emma. Myproblem is that I have a door into the kitchen then another door out into the rear lobby into the bathroom and WC area. Less wall space!!

So metric my kitchen would be 2.74 x 2.1 metres

My kitchen sounds very similar to yours Donna as I have two doors and one massive window.

I still reckon you have a larger kitchen than me, I could't get my tumble dryer in my kitchen, it is outside in the garage...lol

Oh yes love photos!!! Just looking for a picture of my kitchen when I moved in... be warned.... not nice!!!

I'll look at them I love looking at kitchens, garden, in fact anything my kitchen is 23ft x 10ft6'' and now I've removed the understairs cupboard it goes to about 14ft at its widest point Iwill do some piccies for you too, only it ain't grand, I fitted the kitchen myself

Our kitchen is by Howdens, when we moved in here there were not enough cupboards, but when we went to Howdens, they said they only sold to tradesmen, so we had to get a joiner to buy them and install them....
