Hi, all! Sun is tentatively back out and it's a bit warmer. The nor'easter we had Saturday night through Sunday night is finally gone after blowing most of the leaves down; pity as the colors were magnificent this year: the oaks on my street were bronzy copper, the ginkgos on the side street luminescent gold, and my Japanese maple in the front garden its usual blazing crimson. Now just piles of soggy wet leaves! Onyx is back! Didn't come Sunday in the pouring rain,, nor yesterday when everything was wet and soggy; was in her usual spot when I went out to put the trash in the bins...not as skittish as usual and gobbled down her tin of chicken dinner! She let me get within 2 feet of her this time...things are looking up! Have a nice evening, all! |
