This sounds awful Elaine. Some good ideas from people on here.
I would think it is up to the field owner to sort this matter out, the field was rented to you knowing what a nasty trouble making character was next to you.
He won't be happy untill he's drove you out, if he is allowed to.

I have no real idea however I would think the owner of the field bears some responsibility in this I would tell her/him in writing if anything happens you will be suing them as well as him.

I wonder have you ever "videoed your dogs" in the field?

I certainly think there's intimidation - I don't like the sound of how these men are acting at all. Not sure how to proceed without risking escalation. It's a nasty situation.

We are keeping notes on a daily basis as to what's happening.
Spoke with the woman we rent the field from, told her what he was doing and she said that she knew and we should just ignore him.
We are also trying to find out who the comunity policeman is for the area so we can maybe get together with him and get advice.

Been a really busy week, Mr bitter and twisted sabotaged our fences and half of it lifted right out of the ground and was flapping about wildly in the strong winds.
Much to his annoyance we had them back up and firmly secured into the ground the following day. We are nothing if not resourcefull.
What goes around does eventually come back around though...
