Im pleased shes doing ok, but it must be driving you nuts not knowing what the problem is, I know it would me. Hope you get to the bottom (excuse pun!) of it soon, and she can get back to normal permanently. Dawn. |

So glad nothing "bad" turned up in her stools. Do you think it could be down to her breading? the reason I ask is there are certain dog breeders that I can bet down to my last penny that there pups will have dicky tums till there about a year. Then they seem to out grow it. Blue was exactly like Porsha but we could never find anything wrong. If I kept him on a bland diet he was fine but the moment he got anything diffrent woops the runs. This continued till he was about 1 to 1 and a half. It's quite common in the boxer world. You may find she just grows out of it. |

It might be one of those things that she 'just grows out of' The vet has put her back on Metronidazole - this made her diarrhoea 10 times worse last time she was on it But the vet says she has to rule out parasitic infection even though the results came back negative she wants to cover all angles. If the Metronidazole doesn't work, she is taking her in for bowel biopsys. She has started to foul inappropriately now. Tom had to change his bed in the middle of the night and the radiator bed has gone in the bin this morning The vet says it's quite common in instances like this and suggests for the time being that I confine her to one room with no soft furnishings |

Very frustrating that nothing can be found Fran. I know how you feel. The funny thing was, when I had to put my 3 on the metronidazole, not one of them had diarrhea with it. It didn't make Teddie any worse either. Hope poor wee Porsha picks up soon, ((hugs)) |
