Tink, when I changed from IE to Firefox, it transferred them automatically. Granted, that was quite a while ago, but sure FF 3 will, and probably the others also ..

Yup - you can easily transfer favourites from one browser to another. Just need to find the option which lets you!

When you install Chrome it imports them automatically - unless you tick the box for it not to

Nice one Tink!

Maryann - yes IE is dreadfully slow try Chrome (and when you get your Mac use Safari - or Chrome, both are good)

Re: Say goodbye to IE (Internet Explorer)

You don't need the 'file' etc tabs - the most commonly used things from there are all under the spanner icon. But it does take a bit of getting used to!!!

Re: Say goodbye to IE (Internet Explorer)

You can get a most viewed webpages page if you press the new tab (plus sign next to other tabs). If you want to do a search for somethng, you can either type it into the address bar, or if the words already on the page in front of you, you can highlight term, right click, and choose to search for it... Also possible to put some favourites on the bit just below the address bar to make for quick scrolling. You can also choose to view all history in a new tab...
