Hi emsi, have just been reading your thread and I was just wondering how you got on at the vets? Hope everything has gone OK. |

Hi all, Thought I would let you know... Today seems to have been a bit better, Dora's only just had her 1st accident (behind the tv again) at 9.30pm, so not bad going today. One thing I did differently, was to keep Daisy (Mum) in a bit more today, wonder if that made a difference. Vet said it is probably stress, wait about a week, if it still the same, go back. She said she is probably a bit young for infection/cistitis. Thanks for your comments everyone!! Emsie, Daisy & Dora.xxx P.s. Dora also had her 1st vaccinations at the vets bless her, she did cry! xxx |

Maybe it is stress then where mum keeps going out. Bless her heart that big nasty needle hurt and wasn't very nice xx |

Poor little poppet. Let's hope she's on the road to recovery now. Maybe her mum smelt a bit funny to her after the spaying too - good friends often have periods of fear/fighting/oddness when one returns from the vet with that 'vet smell' on them. Add to that her mum stopping feeding and comforting her, and her sibling disappearing - very stressful for a baby. You know the tip about cleaning up with biological washing powder/liquid in solution, don't you. Removes all the 'pee here' aromas. Don't use bleach. It's hard to believe but apparently bleach smells similar to cat wee to our feline friends. |
