If I were you I would now assume that the cat (what was her name by the way?) is fine and settled. If there was anything wrong I'm sure the new owners would have got back in touch with the Shelter or taken the cat to the vet themselves.

The cat is no longer your responsibility, if it was in pain the new owners would have known and would have got her treated.

Why would you be worried 7 months after it happened and not enough at the time to do anything or even mention it to the shelter??

i find it strange that it is only now you are begining to think that she is in pain. If ithad of been any of my 2, if i had any doubt, they would have taken straght to the vet. Why wait 7 month like lynz said, if you had of been that worried about it, you would have taken her and/or mentioned it to the shelter. Can i ask why you got the wee cat in the first place if you could not look after her?
