I always used to stuff the neck end Kazz but changed to doing it separately a few years ago. It's fine as long as you make you sure your turkey is properly cooked.....

I have always stuffed the turkey and chicken, as my mom and grandmom did before me; neverr any problems! Use stale bread torn in bite size bits, saute finely minced onion and celery in butter, mix well together, add salt, freshly ground pepper, sprinkling of parsley flakes, and poultry seasoning...yummy!

I'm having a free-range chook.
I'll put some homemade parsley and thyme stuffing in the neck end but won't 'stuff' the cavity. However I will put a bunch of parsley, half a lemon, a peeled onion and some garlic cloves, plus black pepper, in the cavity, for flavour and moisture.
