Thanks Yola, yes he is It used to make me incredibly sad, DM, because really until fairly recently I wasn't sure he was ever really going to enjoy life (living with beings he was uniformly terrified of). I even cried about it a few times But now I see it as a personal victory on his and my part He's been so brave and good and clever about it, and now when it's time to be fed he'll tentatively walk around my ankles (depending on where I'm standing, he might brush against the sides, but he's not sure about the front or the back yet) and talk to me, and whenever I'm in the kitchen for more than 30 seconds he comes for a fuss It's been brilliant seeing him come along like this. |
