Thank you all. I know they weren't mine, but when I saw them the other day my heart just went out to them. At least they were warm, fed and cared for in their last few days.

A beautiful thought indeed; Misty was never a biological mother, but mothered Dandy so well when he was a kitten: I know she'd look after those little ones ....
