It has rained in kent very hard all day with just maybe ten minutes here and there where it stopped. I have gone back to trouser suit and boots for work (was in my summer skirt suits for a brief period). Its such awful weather. I think I have the whole of the UK's slug and snail population congregating in my garden too. |

It's awful here The city is at a standstill and our village is flooded. Tom set off from School at 3.30pm and got home at 6.30pm and that was after the bus driver chucked them all off to find their own ways home. Luckily hubby was here to go and fetch him but a lot of the children had no phones and a long way to walk in appauling conditions as the bus left them in the middle of no-where |

Unbelievable havoc! Sheffield really got it; I'm so glad Fran and her family are OK! The flooding made the local noon news here today very briefly; probably more on the National news tonight. It's a miracle that there were as few deaths as there were..... |
