Hello and welcome to Catsey!!!! Do you know what grade the heart murmurs are in your furbabes? They are graded on severity - 1 to 5 (I think) with 5 being the most serious. I have had experience of cats with grade 2 heart murmurs who have had no problems at all in life. In fact, one of them, Bernard, was about 7 or 8 years old when I had him and it had caused him no problems. As for murmurs in kittens - it's my understanding that they can "grow out" of the murmur as they get bigger and their bodies develop. I see that Mags has now posted you some links and hopefully there will be more information on there. Can we see some piccies of your babies!?!? |
