Her blood results in January indicated early kidney disease, the vets did not consider it necessary to start her on any treatment. Despite all their tests and scans etc they couldnt find out where the blood was coming from and they decided all they could do was treat the symptoms.
I was not entirely convinced or happy myself and
contacted the RCVS to enquire about a specialist vet who dealt with kidney problems. Apparently there is just the one in the UK and he is now retired, there is no one else so you just have to go along with what your own vet advises
I dont know if its connected or not but Katie has been very sick today, I no sooner mopped up than she was sick again - shes been swallowing continuously wanting out to eat grass or if indoors she has been licking the floor. I finally got her settled around 11pm but have withheld food She has been a very miserable little girl
