Re: Sidney poorly

Fingers and paws crossed here. Hope its just the heat, and something minor and easily fixed.

Re: Sidney poorly

Sidney has been to the vet and vet thinks he has some of gastro intestinal bug. His temperature was 104 - so no wonder he has been feeling so off colour! He was given an injection and has some antibiotics and a paste which will line his stomach & mouth. He was really panting in the vets which was heartbreaking to see. When the vet took his temp there was blood & diarrhoea on the thermometer, however the blood was bright red, indicating it is fresh so he says that is less cause for concern, which I admit I did realise. However, so glad I took him, he definitely needs his meds to get better. Looking forward to a happy purring & head butting boy soon! At the moment he is so quiet and unlike his normal self.

Thanks for all your concerns. Good to know I am among those that understand!

Re: Sidney poorly

awwww poor little baby, I think Arthur has had something similar, usually blood (very fresh and jelly like) in his stools. Either that or being sick with blood in it. He has always recovered well. Is Sidney an indoor cat??
