Thanks all
BG went in for his "little operation yesterday" (hysterical conversation on another forum I belong to where someone asked how I knew he hadn't been done, so I said "Because he's still got his b***s" and it went downhill from there
)
Picked him up at 2 pm yesterday and he was high as a kite from the anaesthetic - one minute tearing around madly, the next flopped on the floor - and he is lurving me lots - following me around like a little dog (even though I keep tripping over him) and demanding scritches. And food. Turned him upside down to have a peek and it all looks clean and healing nicely already
plus I was curious, first time I've had a male cat.
He can go out (with permission this time!) this weekend
And now I can open the doors and windows I might be able to get the, er, distinctive smell of entire tom cat out of the house
- that's the last time I adopt a cat in the SUMMER!
