They're just peices of software that trawl sites to pick up key words in order to index them for the search engines. Nothing sinister!!!

I think they are 'spies' or information gatherers for the internet search engines.
Lets do an experiment. If I type something crazy like bluespangledcustard and then go and do a search, wonder if it will turn up this posting? Off I go - back in a minute!

Edit, one minute later.
Nothing there - but maybe the spiders haven't seen it yet. I'll try again in a little while!
