We have people like myself who are now catless but I find this a friendlier and easier to manage site than dogsey we kinda say what we think and then hug and move on rarely hold grudges or bricks to lob.

Sometimes you can wander around on your own or so it seems then up pops someone and hey presto we are two or three. You need to stick it out we are friendly but not clicky.

Thank you. I've owned several cats in the past. All of them rescued. Alfi (like the others) is a one-off! Never thought I'd ever own another one since moving to Cyprus as the island is awash with cats. But Alfi's story was so heartwrenching I could not RESIST taking her in.

Catsey can be quiet sometimes, much quieter than dogsey, however there is usualy a daily thread which is great for keeping in touch.
I have to admit to not being able to cope with the sheer size of dogsey, unfortunately.

It's much quieter these days.

Well I always end up thinking I am the lucky one. Whether I paid a fortune for a 4legged menace to buy them or rescued them. (The rescues always seem to end up costing more anyway - what with vet bills etc!) but if I couldn't afford it, I wouldn't do it.

Doesn't amaze me any more here in Cyprus. Worked as a volunteer in the Malcolm Cat Sanctuary for over a year when I first came here.
