Waking up at four this morning with a face full of fluffy, purring cat. Early enough for a cuddle then fall back asleep.

Ah that's lovely Jac. A special moment indeed.

My son was playing in his last concert on Monday as 1st french horn of the LSSO (Leicestershire Schools Symphony Orchestra) as he goes to uni in Sept. I was so proud as he had a few little solos. After the concert they all travelled by coach to France & Germany for his last music tour with the orchestra - and he gave me a big hug in front of everyone as he left! (he's 18 btw!) However, he hasn't rang me yet to let me know he's okay!!!

Re: Nicest thing

Can I mention two nice things? My CD player, which had stubbornly stopped playing about a week ago (kept saying "No disc") suddenly started working just fine! Then, I got a catalogue in the mail from a place I often order from; summer nightgowns were on sale for $14.99 and when I went on line to order they were only $9.99!! That was nice also!!

Re: Nicest thing

Congratulations Elaine! I'm really pleased for you.
Lovely to hear everyone's good news etc.
I had a lovely weekend away, and was pleased that the kits had their first couple of days in kennels with no ill effects and the Mini was Ok with her diet and medication under the kind care of 'Auntie Jan'. (that sounds like lots of things but it's all wrapped together)

Re: Nicest thing

Erm, possibly going to see our other fosterer and getting to fuss and play with 5 week old kittens (although they were half the size of normal 5 week old kittens) - and watching one of her dogs pinch a cat toy, and playing with it - it is good to see toys you have bought getting used. And seeing pics of my last foster settling down really well in her new house.
