It's so sad that you don't (as yet!) know where she went or who she chose as her new human friend. Let's hope she's warm and content wherever she is. (it's hard to believe it's been 2 years already) |

I haven't known you for very long Eileen, but I do know that you will have cared and still care deeply for your beautiful Onyx and agree that the lack of closure makes it harder to accept her absence. One thing I have learned from this forum is that the love that we feel for our feline companions both living and lost, rubs off on all of us and we can all feel and understand each others' pain. |

Thank you, James. One thing I love about this forum is that people understand and care about the bond we develop with our cats. And the sorrow and pain when they die or vanish. I'm sure we've all met someone who expressed surprise at our grieving and said "Well, it was just a cat" ....!!!!! |
