Never tried strawberries; have heard you have to cover them with some sort of netting when they ripen or the birds will get them all!! My neighbor did blueberries a while back & the birds really enjoyed them....

One of my staffies loves anything round and red, she pinched tomarotes out of the greenhouse, and ate all the alpine strawberrys!!

Moli just pop the strawberry plants in the side, fill from the top with compost (I would also add some moisture retaining granules) (you can also put a nice plant in the top as well) firm in and water
