oh if I'd known I could use oor Wullie and The Broons BC lol..... and Kim, I didn't actually read the Narnia books until I was in my 20's for some reason, but they are counted amongst my favourites now. |

They are so magical Alex. I read them as a child and in my 20's and 30's..... My daughter reckons she wants to live in Narnia!! My daughter is studying RE at A level and for her Birthday someone gave her a book about the religious aspects of the Narnia stories, it is very interesting. CS Lewis wrote several religious books too. |

The Ransom Trilogy by CS Lewis; Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, That Hideous Strength . . . amazing science fiction books but each with an incredibly powerful religious message. And each get progressively more complex . . . I thoroughly recommend them Alex. |
