Re: Tuesday daily - we have snow

Snow here when I got up this morning, just a couple of inches and it's not on the roads but everything looks very pretty.
Feeling pretty rough with the dreaded lurgy that has been going around the practice, lost my voice after spending all day yesterday on reception! OH thinks it's great
Hoping to be back at work tomorrow though, it's pretty busy at the moment and I feel awful leaving the others to cope, not to mention getting things ready for the students arriving next week!
Hope everyone is staying warm and toasty
Lx

Thank you Angie, wish my darling Imogen was as caring as Kizzy and Pip! Mum trying to rest on the sofa is obviously an invitation to bounce on her head while watching those pesky birds!

I have spent a frustrating day trying to resolve CP issues.....and getting nowhere fast. I think everyone has had too much in the way of celbrating at New Year

Re: Tuesday daily - we have snow

Hi, all; it sounds awful over there! We're spared any snow but the Arctic air is well entrenched: -4 , (26 F), wind chill -7. sunny but brisk winds. Stayed indoors again as I really feel the cold as I've gotten older. Will have to shop Thursday though, as am getting a bit low on produce, milk and orange juice. There seems to be no warmup in the near future, where's the January thaw???

PL, sorry you're not well, take care. The quiz will be back tomorrow if everyone is snowbound and wants a diversion!

Please stay warm, dry and yes, upright!

Re: Tuesday daily - we have snow

Afternoon/evening all.
Snowing again here. Been keeping an eye on the met office weather and it looks like the Midlands will be worst hit this time.
Some dog owners have cancelled as they know what the driving conditions are like here. Main roads are alright but all the side roads are icey etc. Ended up carrying one or two dogs today as the grit is hurting their paws and let me tell you it's pretty hard work carrying a french bully while being pulled by a collie x . Think I might get a sledge would be a good investment
Stay safe and warm every one. xxx

Re: Tuesday daily - we have snow

It's snowing quite heavily here in the East Midlands too.

Mrs H, you are so kind to the birds, I pur boiling water onto the bird bath every day, but not as often as you do! What an angel you are!
