Re: RIP Bronwyn :-(

Thanks everybody.

I had the horrible thought this morning that we had killed her, I know it is all of the grieving process....

Looking forward to getting her ashes back then I will feel more settled...

Re: RIP Bronwyn :-(

Emma it is hard. Its a difficult concept to get your head around especially when your heart is telling you something different. But heads and hearts are often overuled by simple common sense and you know when its time.

Better a day to soon than a moment to late I swear by that.

Browyn is a much loved cat who lived a life many cats are totaly unaware exsists, and one thankfuly many cats enjoy. She left this world as she lived in it much loved........thats a lovely gift.

Look after yourself I know you will, I have to say time does help personaly I recall Oscar and Cleo with fond memories it becomes less; it has to for you to move forward, you recall them in health and not the way they were when they were PTS.

I hope Arthur is okay too have to say Cleo was totaly unfussed when Oscar was PTS...........tut tut, I think Sal missed him more.

Having re-read that not sure it makes sense....I do have a tendency to babble when I post but will not change anything as the general gist is there I hope.

Re: RIP Bronwyn :-(

Thanks for your kind words Kazz, I know it was the right thing to do, luckily she wasn't in any pain and it would have killed me if we had selfishly let it get to that stage, I was so worried about her falling down the stairs and really hurting herself. Just a couple of days before she was pts she was purring and kissing my shoes.

Arthur does seem to be missing her a bit, especially after his dinner in the evening when he seems to be calling her and he is a bit clingy towards me.

Re: RIP Bronwyn :-(

Emma, so sorry to be reading your sad news, and to be responding so late. I know exactly what you mean about the nagging doubt of having done the right thing. A very brave decision to have to make and not one any of us take lightly when that time comes.

Bronwyn is in a good place now but that thought doesn't make it easier in the early days. Hugs to you both xx
