Re: Another Phone Thread

Angie, the only thing we could think of was that as Carolyn left as usual in the morning and was gone for days, and I came twice a day to feed her, she somehow thought there was a connection. When I stopped coming (because Carolyn was going to be back) then her mum was back. So, I was responsible. This belief was reinforced for years as Carolyn did travel a lot. Maybe it doesn't make much sense, but that's the only thing we could come up with. Kate's brother Nimrod liked me ..... I fed him! So he was OK with that!

He was "the best way to his heart was via his stomach" - fairly typical male then! But a positive in this instance.

Re: Another Phone Thread

That's true.! When my bosses were out of town they asked me (as I lived fairly close to them) if I'd feed their Siamese, Bangkok Billy...I'd never been in the house before. I was met at the door by a very large cat who greeted me and walked off with his tail in the air directly to the kitchen, sat in front of the fridge staring hopefully at it. I didn't have to hunt for the kitchen, I had a personal guide. He was a character!
