Re: Ian Huntley/Life Sentences

I definately don't agree with the death penalty but this isn't the argument so I'm not going to say any more on that.

I feel if he wants to take his life he should be allowed to. I personally don't feel it is the easy way out - but then that is my spiritual belief.

Re: Ian Huntley/Life Sentences

I do believe life in prison should be harder, and I also think our sentences need looking at -life should mean life, and even with some of the 'lesser' crimes, I dont think they shoudl be released early due to good behaviour. I have to say the first thought in my mind when I heard the news was 'What a shame they stopped him' - but after reading some of the posts on here, maybe it isnt' a shame, he will have to serve his punishment.

It's a shame he's now in an intensive care bed .... if i had a seriously ill relative in need of, but unable to find, such a bed I would be furious +++

He should be recovering in a 10 x 10 room and his bed should be the floor - he is not ill and even if he was, a bed is still a luxury he shoudnt have.
