Thanks everybody, Charlie I know you have done quite a bit of scub diving, what is the best place to learn. Also what underwater camera would you recommend |

I wouldn't learn in the UK as you'd be learning in a dry suit, as opposed to a wet suit, and the buoyancy techniques are totally different. I did my Open Water course in Australia, my Advanced Open Water in Borneo and Thailand and my Underwater Photography Speciality last year in Indonesia. I'm not just a tropital diver though - I have dived in the Med Malta is a great place for diving. Perhaps that would be a good starting place, Emma.As for cameras, there is so much choice now. It can be confusing  Do you have a dive shop near you - that would be the best place to ask! (we have one in Northampton and we're nowhere near the sea ) |
