Anyway I started to treat the runs with Prokalin but to no avail and the weight just dropped off her
When we went to the vets today the vet checked her over and said she could feel a lump inside Summer's stomach but she isnt sure what it might be She is hoping it might be a large hard stool which she has been unable to pass although thats not very likely given she has had the runs for the past week.
Tommorow they will anesthetize her and do xrays to see whats what, take blood tests and test her for all the usual blood disorders etc. They will also shave her bum bless her as she is really sore and her fur is matted despite having regular baths this week. The shaving will probably make her more comfortable.
so now i have to sit here and wait till at least lunch time to get an answer as to what this lump might be and what can be done about it. I have told them if she needs emergency surgery to just do it and not waste precious time phoning me just get on with it. Obviously if its more serious and nothing can be done and we are at the end of the road so to speak i want to be there with her
Its a very worrying time and i am dreading the phone ringing tomorrow with bad news. Please can you all send some healing vibes to Leeds for Summer and help her get well
Thanks
Sarah

Sarah i have everything crossed for Summer, try and keep an open mind, if it is a lump the vet should give you options, 9/10 they can remove them
I will be thinking of you
