Re: Catsey plans!

I must admit, I agree with shelley, I like it on here as its small and everyone here is approachable and helpful. I also use a social media site but that is to keep in touch with family.

I have joined bigger forums and find them unhelpful and very cliquey at times.

One thing I have always appreciated about Catsey is being asked for opinion by "The Management"!

I am sure that you will do the best you can for us Catseyers, Az. Can I ask what will happen to current supporters?

Thanks for the feedback guys

I think now reading what you have all written, I am much more up for doing it and by adding a Catsey members only section, we can still retain our little gang while at the same time open ourselves up to 'new blood', as Elaine puts it I will sleep on it for a few days as I don't want to rush into it, and of course it will also depend on available time to create the design etc - although maybe to begin with we can use the default forum design and introduce one later as we 'find our feet'.

Angie, I think we can carry supporter's badges over too

Do you have any timescales for this Az? I'm not on here as much as I'd like, but I would hate to arrive one day to find Catsey had moved!

Re: Catsey plans!

Would be a shame to see Catsey go, is there not a danger of it being swallowed up by say the likes of a dog section? Years ago when i got my first cat i had the misfortune to join such a group such as Az is describing with a cat section. Some of its members were so rude .
One day on Dogsey i saw a sign on the side panel for Catsey & came across here & joined & never looked back. Cat folk here were so refreshingly friendly, genuinely nice & helpful.
If changes must & decisions have been made so be it

Re: Catsey plans!

I have a horrible feeling that most fora will be swallowed up given time by the social network sites.

That will be a pity IMO - as Velvet says, the cat folk here have generally been so very kind and supportive, especially if you have a poorly puss and kind words and useful advice is so appreciated.
